How to Mount Snowboard Bindings
Before you get out on the slopes on your snowboard, you'll need to make sure that your bindings are mounted correctly. In this quick guide, we'll walk you through how to put snowboard bindings on your board. It's a fairly straightforward process and as long as you have your gear and a Phillips screwdriver you'll be good to go. Note that there are different types of snowboard binding systems depending on the model, and this video looks at the system often referred to as traditional or classic, where the bindings have to be screwed onto the board:
- Place the binding on top of your board with the buckles facing outwards and open it up.
- Lift the bottom rubber pad to access the mounting area.
- Place the mounting disc inside the binding.
- A small arrow on the binding shows the current angle.
- Spin the disc around to set the desired angle and press it down.
- Use the marking on the board to position the binding in the recommended position.
- Using a big Phillips head screwdriver, tighten the screws in a cross pattern.
- Close up the bindings and repeat the same steps on the other binding.
Now your bindings are mounted!
