The Mini model is meant for the absolute youngest riders in the age of 4-6 years. We only recommend buying this bike for your kid if he/she is somehow familiar with riding bikes already because there is a big difference between the Cobalt Race BMX and regular toddler bikes. Kids at this age are quick-learners and will continuously increase their overall movement and balancing skills as they keep kicking the pedals.
