| "Sadly the Stolen Hive handle bars was a let down as I thought the chequered board was part of the design, yet the chequered board is a stick on underneath the bar, which I do not wish to use as it will make my bars sticky in time and also produce a weaker grip? I wanted a chequered board to match my bike pads, socks, trainers, and helmet :-( The HARO Grips is what I had before so in comparison I would rate at 70% with the HARO being 100% quality. As the chequered board pattern is not part of the grip or the material I would rate it a 10% And since it was the pattern I had made the purchase for I would rate it a 1 Star! Just a note on putting on grips: Don't waste your time with hair spray, air, oil, etc. All you need to do is blow into it for 1 minute whilst holding the other end with your and the steam hot breath form your mouth will allow the grip to slip in with ease. No mess, no cost and no time wasting." | |
