Derby Jump Black Quad Roller skates

These park skates from Chaya are high-end quad roller skates incorporating a lot of the technologies that Chaya has improved through their love of Roller Derby.

The boot of the Jump skate is a high-cut leather/PU clad boot with a mesh inner. The design draws heavy inspiration from sneaker designs and the foam padded boot is comfortable to wear for extended periods of time. The lacing is made to make the boot fit nice and tight around the foot for improved control.

The plates on these roller skates are Chayas Shari plates. They are made with a mix of nylon and fiberglass for a strong lightweight plate. Along with the 20° cast aluminum trucks and Jelly Interlock cushions, you get a highly maneuverable quad roller skate that is fun to skate and easy to control.

Octo Paseo wheels with a soft and grippy 78A durometer. And paired with the Wicked ABEC7 bearings you get a really nice setup. Notice that if you intend to use these skates for indoor derby only you might want to get harder wheels which will be better suited for this purpose. Controller toe stops make changing direction and stopping a breeze.

These skates can be used for regular exercise skating outdoors. But ideally they should be used in parks and on verts where they really unveil their full potential. Since the ankle length of the boot is mid-cut they are also perfect for Roller Derby beginners (harder indoor wheels may be required for this though).
